Who We Are
Who We Are
Calgary needs Jesus. We see the city as a place that Jesus loves deeply because of the density and diversity of the people who live there.
We want to bring the GRACE of Jesus to Calgary.
Grace is a word that describes unearned blessing and forgiveness and it is our hope to bring grace to everyone we come in contact with.

ABOUT THE SERMON
Our ‘Big’ (Sunday morning) gatherings are designed to connect people with Jesus and other members of His family. On Sundays we gather to hear about Jesus from the Bible. We’re all given a chance to respond to what Jesus is teaching us through music, the Lord’s Table, and giving. If you are new to our church—or church in general—this is a great place for you to get introduced to who we believe is the most important person in history: Jesus Christ.
It’s important to know that we also value ‘Small’ gatherings, which we call City Groups. Our Sunday mornings are designed to help you understand who Jesus is and what He has done for you. Our City Groups are designed to act like family units where real community happens.
When you visit Urban Grace for a Sunday gathering, the greeters and connect team can provide you with more information about how to join a City Group or to join a service team.
Urban Grace is a vibrant multi-generational church family, and we love to welcome new families with children. Urban Grace Kids provides an opportunity for kids (infants to age 10) to learn about Jesus while parents and caregivers attend the Sunday gathering. Kids can be dropped off in their classrooms beginning at 9:45am and should be picked up during the Communion portion of the gathering, immediately following the sermon.
Urban Grace Church is a member of the Canadian National Bapist Convention (CNBC).
